11-16-2009 - FJM Client Bands take 10 of 12 spots and top 7 placements at Bands of America Grand National Finals!

Indianapolis, IN - FJM was "in the house" at Lucas Oil Stadium as our Client Bands had an unbelievable weekend of success at the 2009 Bands of America Grand National Championships.

The FJM booth was in a great location for fans and friends to meet and greet. Many students and parents stopped by to take pictures of their uniform in the booth, and to admire the designs Michael Cesario created for their competitors. We spoke with many directors looking for new uniforms in 2010 who are tremendously excited about working with Michael and FJM to create the perfect image for their group. We also had the opportunity to speak with many current clients who expressed their complete satisfaction with FJM.

After two days of tremendous performances from some of the top band programs in the country in preliminary competition, FJM Client Bands took 24 of the 32 semi-finals spots! That's an incredible 75%!!!  As if that wasn't enough, after the dust settled from semi-finals, FJM had 10 of the 12 finalist bands wearing Cesario Uniforms exclusively constructed by FJM Inc! That's a spectacular 83%!!!

This was one of the best finals competitions in BOA history, and FJM Client bands lead the way by having the National Champion, and the top 7 spots in this contest of the "best of the best".

Avon High School (Avon, IN - Director Jay Webb) 1st Place - 96.60 came away with their 2nd straight BOA Title with a near flawless production that had many people stunned by the level of performance and sophistication of design. Whether you were looking for Music Performance (2nd Place) Visual Performance (1st Place tie) or GE (1st Place tie), this program had it all. A fantastic finals run gave Avon the 2009 Bands of America title hands down. Congratulations Avon from everyone here at FJM Inc! We look forward to serving your needs for years to come!

L.D. Bell High School (Hurst, TX - Director Van Mathews) 2nd Place - 95.25 once again presented a captivating program with their "Prayer for Light" show. From the eerie entrance onto the field, all the way to the final statement with the band lifting the guard toward the heavens, this was another incredible show in the long history of this well respected program. Bell finished 3rd in Music Performance, 5th in Visual Performance and tied for 1st in GE (which earned them the silver). We can't wait to see what this imaginative unit comes up with next year. Whatever it is, FJM will be here to help create the image!

Marian Catholic High School (Chicago Heights, IL - Director Greg Bimm) 3rd place - 95.25 always has the design and performance to be in the mix, and this year was no different. This 7 time BOA Champion came to play in finals, and it was that determination that helped push Marian up to 3rd Place after a 5th Place finish in semi-finals. Marian Catholic finished tied for 5th in Music Performance, tied for 1st in Visual Performance and placed 3rd in GE. Those Cesario uniforms with the gold and silver highlights were a perfect compliment to their program this year. Congratulations on a fantastic year!
