Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium was the incredible setting for the Drum Along the Rockies Show this past Saturday, which featured FJM client corps Blue Devils & The Cavaliers in their first showdown of the DCI competitive season.

Blue Devils (1st Place - 88.85) took top honors placing first in all captions except Visual Performance where they finished just a scant .1 behind The Cavaliers (2nd Place - 87.80). Although BD had the vast majority of "bullets" across the board, The Cavies were only a tenth or two behind in most captions. Both of these programs look determined on being the possible 2009 DCI Champion. And if history is any indicator, these FJM client corps will be in the mix until the very end of the season in Indy. 

The hometown favorite Blue Knights (5th Place - 80.90) sent chills through the audience with their spectacular show encompassing a winter in Colorado. BK placed 5th in all captions. The Colts (7th Place - 75.950) just missed 6th place by .25 tenths with 6 place finishes in both GE Visual & Music, along with Colorguard and Music Ensemble. Cascades (10th Place - 66.75) rounded out the FJM client corps at the show.
