FJM stalwart Drum Corps International clients, Blue Devils and The Cavaliers, have announced their programs for the 2008 season.
These two Drum Corps powerhouses have never been ones to shy away from taking exciting risks, and this year is no different.
The Blue Devils will be presenting a show entitled, "Constantly Risking Absurdity" and will feature the music of renown composers such as Stephen Sondheim, Danny Elfman and Ennio Morricone. With a prolific staff that includes Jay Murphy, Wayne Downey, Scott Johnson and FJM's own Scott Chandler, look for another stellar year out of the corps that leads all other DCI contenders in world championship titles.
The Cavaliers will be literally on the cutting edge, as they bring their production of "Samurai" to DCI audiences around the country. They will present a dramatic interpretation of the Samurai lifestyle. Selections will include: .jpg)
Bushido - The Way of the Warrior
Ronin - Masterless Samurai
Ken-jutsu - The Art of the Sword
Femeiyo yori shi wo - Death Before Dishonor
Keep an eye out for those Cesario custom Samurai uniforms that the guard will wear courtesy of FJM Inc.
We would like to wish both of these long time FJM clients the best of luck as they head into the summer competition season. For more information on each of these programs, check out the links below:
