April is the newest face on the FJM Design Team with bright, exciting angle on today’s stretchwear. Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University, having studied Textile and Apparel Merchandising. No stranger to pageantry herself, she has been a member of several percussion programs, including Legends Drum and Bugle Corps and Carolina Crown. She was also a member of the noted Matrix Percussion, and now works with them as an instructor and battery technician. Since moving to Dayton, she works with several local Scholastic percussion programs, and is assistant to Byron Valentine.Contact Me!
His pageantry career began as a baton twirler under the tutelage of Fred Miller, director of the famed Miller’s Blackhawks. Mr. White won numerous State and National championships as a competitive baton twirler. His teaching career in the sport of baton twirling has spanned some 30 years, producing a multitude of National and World champions. In addition, his membership with the United States Twirling Association, as well as the World Baton Twirling Federation, has taken him to some 20 countries instructing and judging. Currently, he serves as USA Judges Rep for the World Baton Twirling Federation and is contributing to the development of the new judging system.
As an adjudicator, Dale is currently on the roster of Winter Guard International as well as the Ohio Music Educators Association. His focused area of adjudication is General Effect, Color Guard, and Visual captions where he has over 20 years of experience. In the 2009 season of WGI, he served as Chief Judge Administrator. Ashley has a plethora of experience within the marching pageantry. She is currently the Rhythm X Winds flute player and will continue to wear our product again this upcoming year. She instructs flute at various High Schools around the area. She has been familiar with wearing the FJM uniform since High School, where she was a member of The Pride of Owasso Marching Band in Owasso, OK. She was also on the Administrative staff for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps in 2015 where she received an extensive knowledge on the care of Marching Uniforms. Ashley has received two Bachelor degrees in Earth Science and another in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, where she was also part of the Syracuse University Marching Band and Concert Band.Contact Me!
