April is the newest face on the FJM Design Team with bright, exciting angle on today’s stretchwear. Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University, having studied Textile and Apparel Merchandising. No stranger to pageantry herself, she has been a member of several percussion programs, including Legends Drum and Bugle Corps and Carolina Crown. She was also a member of the noted Matrix Percussion, and now works with them as an instructor and battery technician. Since moving to Dayton, she works with several local Scholastic percussion programs, and is assistant to Byron Valentine.Contact Me!
Guillermo is a California native. There he attended Foothill High School Bakersfield where he was a part of the Unique Images Varsity Colorguard for four years. Guillermo later attended UCLA where he majored in World Arts and Cultures- Dance Studies with a focus in modern dance and improvisation. While at UCLA he danced and studied under renowned choreographers like Ros Warby, David Rousseve, and Nick Duran. In his Colorguard career, he has experience performing with group like Intensity Independent A, Intensity Independent Open, UCLA Marching Band, the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps A, and the Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard. Guillermo has taught and/or choreographed at several different performance ensemble which includes Intensity Independent A, Lakota East High School, Alter High School, Perkins High School, and Intensity Independent Open. Ashley has a plethora of experience within the marching pageantry. She is currently the Rhythm X Winds flute player and will continue to wear our product again this upcoming year. She instructs flute at various High Schools around the area. She has been familiar with wearing the FJM uniform since High School, where she was a member of The Pride of Owasso Marching Band in Owasso, OK. She was also on the Administrative staff for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps in 2015 where she received an extensive knowledge on the care of Marching Uniforms. She currently is on the visual staff for The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. Ashley has received two Bachelor degrees in Earth Science and another in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, where she was also part of the Syracuse University Marching Band and Concert Band.Contact Me!
